Announcing New Scout Executive For Greenwich Council

GREENWICH-- The Greenwich Council, Boy Scouts of America is pleased to announce the selection of Kevin P. O'Shea as the new Scout Executive/Chief Executive Officer of the Greenwich Council. He will take over the top job at the Council beginning March 16th.
Kevin comes to Greenwich after serving 16 years in various Scouting positions and most recently the Assistant Scout Executive of the Theodore Roosevelt Council in Massapequa, New York.
"We are excited to announce the unanimous selection of Kevin as the Scout Executive of the Greenwich Council by our selection committee," said Bob DeLaney, President of Greenwich Council. Kevin's successful track record while at the Theodore Roosevelt Council convinced us that he is the perfect candidate to launch Greenwich Scouting successfully into its second century of delivering quality Scouting programs to local youth."
In our 100th anniversary year, Kevin is the thirteenth person to serve in the role of the Scout Executive position.
This year Greenwich Scouting is celebrating their 100 year Anniversary of providing Scouting youth with fun programs that build character, foster volunteerism and explore the outdoors, all helping to prepare them for life. The Greenwich Council serves over 2500 youth annually through continued partnerships and the efforts of more than 300 dedicated volunteers.
