Advancement is the process by which youth members of the Boy Scouts of America progress from rank to rank in the Scouting program. To advance, a youth member fulfills specific requirements, usually including active participation, skill achievement, service to others, and leadership experience.

- Merit Badge Workshop - Greenwich Scouting offers an annual Merit Badge Workshop in the fall. Boy Scouts are able to sign up through their units and take one to two Merit Badge courses throughout the day with Merit Badge Counselors. Stay tuned for more information.
