Proper training is a cornerstone in Scouting. At Greenwich Scouting, we 
believe every youth deserves a trained leader. Not only do trained leaders ensure that Scouts will benefit from a quality Scouting program, but adults benefit from training as well. They have a better understanding of the Scouting program, receive resources to properly fill their unit position and help better retain Scouts!
Training begins with Fast Start Training and is followed by specific Basic Leader Training. Every volunteer is required to take Youth Protection Training every two years as well. All training is possible through the Online Learning Center. Additional links and resources include:
Local University of Scouting days are possible through neighboring Councils in both NY and CT. Additional information will be posted closer to the upcoming University of Scouting sessions.
